What is Lanluma?
Lanluma was launched in 2021, representing a newer generation of PLLA technology compared to the original Sculptra, which has been available since 2000.
Both Lanluma and Sculptra are made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance that stimulates your body to produce its own collagen — the essential protein responsible for skin’s firmness, volume, and elasticity.
Rather than filling lines directly, PLLA works gradually, rebuilding your skin’s inner structure and improving its overall quality and appearance.
At Orchard House in Northallerton, we use Lanluma to target common concerns such as:
- Volume loss in cheeks and temples
- Softening of nasolabial folds and marionette lines
- Sagging along the jawline or lower face
- General loss of skin firmness and elasticity
Why Choose Lanluma treatment?
The key benefits are
🌿 Natural-Looking Results
Because Lanluma works by stimulating your own collagen, the results appear gradually and subtly. This avoids the “overdone” look and allows you to look refreshed — not “treated.”
🕒 Long-Lasting Improvement
Unlike traditional fillers that may wear off after 6–12 months, Lanluma’s results can last up to 2 years or more, as the newly formed collagen continues to support your skin.
💫 Improved Skin Texture and Quality
Patients often report improvements not just in volume, but in skin tone, texture, and firmness. This holistic rejuvenation sets Lanluma apart from volume-only treatments.
⚖️ Tailored to You
Dr David and Dr Stephanie take a personalised approach to every treatment. We assess your facial structure, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to design a bespoke plan using Lanluma, ensuring the most natural and flattering outcome.
🩺 Safe and Minimally Invasive
Lanluma is a non-surgical treatment with minimal downtime. Most patients experience mild swelling or redness that resolves within a few days, making it easy to fit into a busy lifestyle.

What to Expect from Your Treatment
At Orchard House, your Lanluma treatment is carefully guided from start to finish:
- Consultation
We begin with an in-depth consultation to discuss your concerns, evaluate your facial anatomy, and determine if Lanluma is the right treatment for you.
- Treatment Plan
Most patients require a course of 1 to 3 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on your skin condition and desired results.
- Gradual Transformation
Unlike immediate fillers, Lanluma’s effects build over time as collagen production increases. Most patients begin to see visible improvements after 4–6 weeks, with full results developing over 2–3 months.
- Follow-Up and Aftercare
We’ll guide you through aftercare, including gentle massage, hydration, and sun protection. You’ll be invited for review appointments to monitor progress.
