At Orchard House, anti-wrinkle treatments are delivered following a detailed medical consultation and facial assessment.

Treatments may involve prescription-only medicine to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles, softening dynamic lines while maintaining natural expression.

During consultation, we also assess skin quality, collagen integrity and structural support.

In some cases, regenerative or collagen-stimulating treatments may provide a more appropriate long-term solution.

Consultation

We begin with a confidential medical history and suitability assessment.

We take time to understand your concerns, what you would like to improve, and the outcome you hope to achieve.

Dr Stephanie or Dr David will carry out a detailed facial assessment which may include:

• Visual skin analysis
• Digital and microscopic imaging
• Anatomical assessment from upper face to neck

We then discuss tailored treatment options and provide you with time to consider your choices.

No pressure. No obligation.

What to Expect

Treatment appointments are typically quick and performed in CQC registered clinical setting. Mild redness or swelling may occur and usually settles quickly. Results develop gradually over several days and typically last a number of months before maintenance treatment may be required. Individual experiences and results naturally vary.

We understand that discretion matters.

Appointments are arranged confidentially and clinical photographs are stored securely. Images are only ever used with written consent and treatment areas are anonymised.

Our approach focuses on subtle, natural-looking enhancement — unless a more defined result is specifically requested and clinically appropriate.

Botulinum Toxin A

What is it?

‘Botox®’ for example is Allergans’ Brand Name for Botulinum Toxin A.

This toxin when used for Anti Wrinkle Treatment, is a naturally occurring protein that relaxes the muscles of the face, and consequently over time, smoothes out any wrinkles. Botulinum toxin has been widely and safely used in both medical and aesthetic practice for several decades.

Not only can Dr. Stephanie and Dr. David administer this, but as Advanced Facial Practitioners they can easily interchange toxins, as needed, such as Letybo® Bocouture® Nuceiva® and Azzalure® as needed – so, they can perfectly tailor your treatment.

What will Anti-Wrinkle Injections involve?

The treatment involves making a series of small injections into the muscles of your face. The injection process itself only take several minutes. This is the treatment of choice for people with forehead lines, frown lines or wrinkles around their eyes that they wish to diminish.

Anti-Wrinkle Injection FAQs

Is it safe?

Botulinum Toxin A has been used in medical practice for over 40 years. When administered by appropriately trained clinicians, it works locally at the injection site to relax targeted muscles.

As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, which are discussed fully during your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Anti-wrinkle injections involve a series of small injections using a very fine needle. Most patients describe the sensation as mild and brief. Any temporary tenderness at the injection site typically settles quickly.

What happens after treatment?

You can return to normal daily activities immediately.

We advise avoiding:

• Strenuous exercise
• Saunas/steam rooms
• Other facial treatments

for 24 hours following treatment.

Results develop gradually over 10–14 days as muscle activity reduces.

What areas can be treated?

Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used to soften dynamic lines in the:

• Forehead
• Frown area (between the brows)
• Crow’s feet (outer eye area)

Suitability is assessed individually during consultation.

How long do results last?

Results typically last between 3–5 months. Duration varies between individuals depending on muscle activity and lifestyle factors.

Maintenance treatments may be considered following review.

Are anti-wrinkle injections the only option?

No.

Depending on skin quality, collagen support and structural changes, other treatments may be more appropriate, including:

• Skin Rejuvenation treatments
• Biostimulators
• Medical-grade skincare

Your consultation will determine the most suitable and conservative approach.
